All staff members with a educational assignment (ZAP, AAP, WP or UZ proxies) are informed of the DOWA1 training offer via their UGent e-mail address because education is one of the core tasks of UGent and, as a lecturer, you need to receive essential information about it in order to consolidate and improve educational quality. One does not have to give explicit permission for this since this information is part of the contractual agreement that the university has with its employees to provide a service and to keep them informed of any changes. Participation is free of charge for UGent staff. If you register for a training course as a UGent staff member, you agree with the cancellation policy.
